- Judgment on Nations 25-32
- After all of the judgment announcements and signs against Israel, Ezekiel now announces his judgments against e nations. Most of these nations have been enemies of Israel, especially the final nation, Egypt. Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, and Tyre are also on this list. There are 7 nations and the last prophecy has 7 parts to it that begin with “the word of the Lord came to me”. This pattern of 7 is a sign of complete judgment. Egypt is looked at as a monster with Pharoah being the head of this beast. The Lord will bring down this monster (the nation) and be a sign for Israel that they should have trusted in Yahweh instead of Egypt.
