Psalm 27:13, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.“

Life is tough. Sometimes it’s as if nothing good is happening and everything around us is falling apart. This verse is challenging for me as I hope it is for you. David here, is confident of one thing. When everything else in his life isn’t making sense and everyday seems harder than the last, he is confident of one thing…the goodness of the Lord. Not only is he confident in what the Lord can do but he is confident that he will see the goodness of God.

The challenge in this Psalm is to look for the goodness of God everyday. Really look at the good that God has done and is doing in your life. It might seem hard and it might seem impossible. But there is always good in every day. There might be darkness all around but there is a light amidst the darkness. That light, is the goodness of the Lord.

So today, challenge yourself to look for the goodness of the Lord.
