Hypocrisy / legalism

• Hypocrisy – 7 woes led to:
  • Keep people out of the kingdom 
  • took advantage
  • Misguided
  • Covetousness
  • Uncompassionate
  • Corrupt
  • Persecuted
• Col 2:6-8
  • We are not to be trapped by this thinking
  • We need to live in Christ which means we are
    • rooted in Jesus
    • Strengthened in faith
    • Thankful
  • We avoid hypocrisy by staying true to Jesus

Forgiveness

• mat 6:14-15
  • If we forgive, God will forgive us
• Col 3:13
  • We forgive any complaint or conflict
  • We forgive as God does – freely

Serving

• mat 25:40 – When we serve, we do it for Jesus
• Col 3:23-24
  • We receive an inheritance
  • We are serving Jesus when we serve
