  • Knowledge
    • Greek: gnosis – general intelligence, understanding, act of knowing
  • An example of knowledge is meat Sacrificed to idols is fine to eat.- 1 cor 8
  • Knowledge can but not always lead to instructing – Rom 15:14
  • We should always strive for Knowledge . 2 Pet 3:18
  • We should spread knowledge – 2 Cor 2:14
  • Faith
    • Greek: pistis – Conviction, belief
  • Faith Can heal Matt 9:22
  • Faith can make requests happen- Matt 15:28
  • Faith encourages – Rom 1:12
  • Faith is what we live by – 2 cor 5: 7
  • Encouraging
    • Greek, parakaleo – to call, console, strengthen, beg
  • God is the source – Romisis
  • To encourage – Acts 15:31
  • Gospel is encouragement – Acts 13: 15- 52
  • Timothy was sent to encourage – 1 Thess 3 : 2
  • We should encourage daily – Heb 3:13
  • Giving
    • Greek: metadidomi – impart
  • We should give freely – Rom 1218
  • Share, give the gospel – 1 Thess 218
  • Give for others needs – Eph 4: 28 / Mat 5:42
  • God gives to us – Matt 7:7
  • Jesus gave his life – John 6:5110 8 to fo JUD 2
  • Leading
    • Greek: Proistem; – be over, protect, care, give attention
  • Applies to elders and deacons. 1 Tim 3 : 4 , 5, 12
  • Do what is good – give attention too – Titus 3 : 8, 14
