During this time of Thanksgiving, let us observe thankfulness in the book of Psalms. These poems and prayers are filled with giving thanks to God for all he does. Below I have highlighted what psalmists give thanks to God for and let us be thankful for these same attributes and glory of God.
I will give thanks to the Lord for his righteousness,
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
Psa 118:21
I will give you thanks, for you answered me; you have become my salvation.
At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.
We thank you, O God!
We give thanks because you are near.
I bow down toward your holy temple
and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness,
